Biography
Eliza Alice (Gwinn) McEvoy was born in Nova Scotia on 25 Jan 1845.[1][2]
Eliza married John McEvoy likely around 1866 (a secondary source suggests 8 Oct 1866), since in 1871 the couple and two children (John, age 4; and Emile Ann, born in February).[3] The family lived in Cape North, Victoria Nova Scotia throughout their lives.
