Arthur was born on 15 June 1900. His parents were Arthur Gyte and Lilian Coxon.[1] He was christened on 15 June 1900 at St Marys Church, Wombwell, Yorkshire. [2]

Military Service

When he was 18 years old, in 1918, at the end of WW1, Arthur served with 53rd Training Reserve Battalion, King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. [3][4]


Arthur married Annie Donnelly in 1927 at Cleethorpes, Linconshire. [5]

Death and Probate

Arthur passed away on 3 March 1961.[6]
