Biography
When Catherine Haase was born on October 11, 1800, in North Carolina, her father, Jacob, was 30, and her mother, Mary, was 15. She married William Parker Williams on March 25, 1823, in Gaston, North Carolina. They had seven children in 17 years. She died on October 28, 1875, having lived a long life of 75 years, and was buried in Martinsville, Indiana.
