Biography

Pierre was born about 1748.[1] He is the son of Jacques René Hache and Anne Boudrot. [2]

In 1752 Jacques René, Anne and their three children were residents of Rivière de Peugigut (Pisquid River) on Isle Saint-Jean. He was a ploughman, 25 years of age, and owned farm animals. [3]

Ten-year-old Pierre was among the 167 Acadians who were put aboard the Supply and disembarked at Saint-Malo on March 9, 1759. Two of his siblings died at sea. His sister Henriette died not long after arriving in France.[4]

The family lived at St. Enogat, France from 1759 to 1765 and afterward the children went to live at Belle-Île-en-Mer. [5]
