Marie Madeleine was born on 22 August 1762 in Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, not far from Beaubassin and Fort Beauséjour.[1] Her birth was recorded in the civil register of Franklin Manor.[2] She was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste Haché and Anne Doiron. Marie Madeleine was baptized at the age of 7 in Petitcoudiac, along with her siblings Ursule, Jean-François, Marie Catherine and Anne.[3] Her godparents were Jean Maillet and Cécile Granger.
She married Didier Roussel, son of Didier Roussel and Marguerite ( Unknown), on 14 December 1782.[2][1]
Magdelin Gallon the daughter of Jno and Ann Galon of Napan was born 22 August 1762. Didier Rusil, the son of De Deer and Margret Rusil Thor Mon (?) abisione (?) sic old France was married to Magdalin Gallon Nappan County Cumberland 14th December 1782. Children: Clair Rusil born august 12th 1783; Simon Rusil January 8th 1784; Judie Rusil April 3rd 1785; Usit Rusil May 6th 1787.
