Mary is the daughter of Michael Hackett and Margaret Fitzpatrick. Her family are from Cashel, County Tipperary, Eire. Mary was a migrant to New South Wales, as were her 2 brothers Edmond Hackett and Patrick Hackett.
In 1877 Mary married Daniel Connery. [1] In late March 1895 she attended the funeral of her brother Patrick Hackett with many others of her extended family.[2]
Mary passed away in 1923 in New South Wales. [3] [4]
