William Hackney, born Abt. 1753; died 1822.He was the son of Joseph Hackney, Sr. and Sarah Hightower. He married Ailsey Stewart 1779. Ailsey Stewart, born Abt. 1756 in Orange County, North Carolina; died 1807. She was the daughter of Charles Stewart and Elizabeth Anne.
