Mary was born between 1772-1795 in Georgia, possibly Louisville.[1]. Mary is the daughter of David William Hadden[2] and either Mary Gordon[3] or Elizabeth Hannah.[4] She married first David Cotter.[5] Second she married Samuel Garrett February 23, 1840.[6]
