Margaret was born in about 1756 in Goochland, Colony of Virginia, British Colonial America. She was the daughter of John Haden and Jean Moseley. Little is known about her life as she passed away at the age of 21 in 1777. She is believed to have been buried at the family homestead.
The "John Haden" book says there is only one deed in Albemarle County that mentions this daughter - apparently died or moved away, certainly before 1795. Probably named Margaret Douglas for father's mother since that is the only grandparent represented without a namesake.
