Lloyd was born in 1896. He was the son of James HadenSallie Turner. On 23 Apr 1915 he married Sarah Brooksie Taylor. They settled in Boone/Callaway, had approx. 6 children (per census and FAG records) and where he worked as a farmer. They lived here throughout their lives. Brooksie passed away in 1978. It is unknown what took him there but he passed away in 1990 in Tarrant County, TX. He was brought back to Boone, MO and is buried at the Columbia Cemetery there.
According to his WWII Draft Card from 1942, he was 5'5", 175 pounds, gray hair and brown eyes.
