In 1850, Joseph Hadsell, born 1770, was enumerated on the Federal Census in the Guernsey County, Ohio home of Content Hadsell Law and her husband Henry:
(1) There is a conflict regarding Joseph's date of death. Contrary to Joseph being enumerated in the 1850 Census in Guernsey, Ohio, the William Hadsel Genealogy book indicates that Joseph died in 1840 but does not give an actual date or source. [3]
(2) Whether Joseph is Content's father or uncle is disputed but Content Hadsell Law does name her first child, Joseph Hadsell Law and she does NOT use the name Edward for any of her sons.
