Hannah Hafford was born in 1917 in Allagash, Maine, the daughter of William Hafford and Annie Ryder.
In January 1920, Hannah was two years old and living Allagash Plantation with her parents "Will" and Annie, her two older brothers Ephrem and George and her younger sister Mary. [1]
In April 1930, Hannah was twelve years old and living in Allagash, Maine with her father "Willie", her mother Annie, her older brothers Ephraim and George, her younger sisters Mary, Nora, Bertha and Stella, and her younger brother Kenneth. [2]
According to Kim Costa on Ancestry.com, Hannah married Thomas N. Pelletier on May 14, 1934 in Allagash, Maine. [3] To date, a record for this marriage has not yet been found either on Ancestry,com or on FamilySearch.org. However, given that Hannah was a member of the Allagash Historical Society, a record of her marriage can probably be found in the Allagash Historical Society library. In 1940, Anna was 22 years old and living in Allagash Plantation with her husband 31-year-old husband Thomas Pelletier, Jr. The couple had two children: their daughter Annie who was 3 years old and their son Clarence who was 2 years old. [4]
Hannah lived with her husband Thomas until his death in 1981. She died on July 4, 2000.
