Biography

Thomas Hagan was born before 1810.

Marriage and children

Thomas married Seragh McGlone. The following children are known:

  • Jean Hagan (baptised 21 March 1824 in Tynan, Armagh, Ireland)[1]
  • Thomas Hagan (baptised 26 July 1826 in Tynan, Armagh, Ireland)[2]
  • Seragh Ann (baptised 7 June 1829 in Tynan, Armagh, Ireland)[3]
  • Isabella Hagan (baptised 6 January 1832 in Tynan, Armagh, Ireland)[4]

All four children arrived in Australia aboard the ship Oriental in 1850.[5][6]

Death

When his children arrived in New South Wales in 1850, he was listed as being alive and living in Tynan.
