Reseearch Notes
Downey-1809: She was listed as 22 years old (birth 1869). Her parents married in 1871 in Iowa and Tempa doesn't appear on the 1880 census with her parents. I wonder if she was adopted by Charles and Leah sometime after 1880 census? This would explain the birth before marriage.
