Jan (John) Hagerman b 10 Jan 1718 Raritan, NJ, married 20 October 1741 Jannetje Van Hoorn in Bensalem, Bucks Co, PA.
Jan Adriaens Hegeman (also John Hagerman) was born January 10, 1717/18 in Raritan, Somerset Co., NJ107, and died 1796 in Northampton, Bucks Co.,.He married Jannetje (Jane) Van Horn October 20, 1741 in Bucks Co., daughter of Christiaen Van Hoorn and Willemtje Van Dyke.
name also spelled "John Hagerman" . Baptized in New Brunswick-records in Rutgers Library. [1]Various birth dates are given..Nettie Weaver lists 1728 and also lists as born 1 Aug 1717 in New Brunswick, NJ.
Hendricus Hegeman was the witness to the marriage [2]. This must have been his brother as the other Hendricus alive in 1741 was Hendricus son of Joseph and lived on Long Island. What is unusual in the marriage Banns is that the birthplace (Sommerset on the Raritan) is mentioned for both husband and wife.

Note: A John Hegeman had a Land Warrant for 70 acres in Northumberland Co, PA dated 30 May 1794. Image page att. Uncertain of identity of this man, either Jan or his son John.
