Biography

This profile is part of the Johnson Name Study.

Mary Amanda Hailey was born 31 Jul 1842 in Elbert Co., Georgia, USA [1] [2] [3] [4] to William Raeburn Hailey and Sarah Ann Gaines. She first married William L. Cleveland on 2 Feb 1860 [5] in Elbert Co., Georgia, [6] and they had one daughter, Sallie Frances Cleveland. [7] He passed away in 1870 and Mary Amanda secondly married William Richmond Johnson on 13 Oct 1870. [5] They had 8 children together. [8]

After William R. Johnson's passing, Mary Amanda moved with her son, Isaac P. Johnson, to New Mexico in 1924 and is buried in the Woodbine Cemetery in Artesia, New Mexico.) [9]

Hailey-335 and Hailey-106 appear to represent the same person because: They have the same DOB and approximate DOD, have same husbands (both of which are duplicates), and same parents. I added Hailey-335 as a GEDCOM import to include all their children. They are ready to merge.
