Biography

Sarah, b. 12 mo. (Feb.) 25, 1709/10; m. under the care of Burlington MM, N.J., 1732, Jacob Lamb, b. 11 mo. (Jan.) 26, 1706/7; d. 3 mo. [May] 30, 1761; son of Jacob and Ann Lamb. Their marriage was reported Burlington MM 8 mo. (Oct.) 2, 1732. She was his 1st wife, he marrying 2d, Lydia (Stokes) Haines, dau. of Thomas and Deliverance (Horner) Stokes, and widow of Samuel Haines (William, Richard). they resided in Evesham Twp., Burlington Co., N.J. His will was dated Mar. 22, 1761, and was probated Apr. 8, 1761.

The children of Sarah (Haines) Lamb and Jacob Lamb were: 1.) Margaret (Lamb) Antram, d. 1810 2.) Ann (Lamb) Leeds, d. 1799
