Biography

Catharine was the daughter of John (b 1694) and Barbara Haines. she married Johan Peter Loux and they had children Barbara (1754-1829 married a Salade), John Loux-27 , John Jacob (1859-1825), John Peter (1760-1825) Catharine(1763-1785 married a Kramer), Andrew Loux-3 , Elizabeth( born 1769 married a Bryan), John Adam (1771-1859), Maria Magdalena (born 1775 married a Lutz). and Catharine died in 1798 and she and her husband were buried at the Tohickon Reformed Church

  • Laux was the original spelling of the surname. It was changed to Loux around Civil war, but Loux is what my family used so that's what I went with).
