Parents removed from Haines-202 so merge can continue. Haines-202 was entered as the son of his grandfather

Haines-202 and Haines-1185 appear to represent the same person because: the information for both is the same. The real problem is with the parents listed on both profiles. The father's death date is before the birth date of the child.

Your Malachi Haines was uncle of my Malachi Haines. Your Malachi, son of Thomas and Abigail Haines, was one of 7 children. Thomas was a weaver in Hampton, NH, also a soldier in Capt Gilman's company which pursued Indians aftr they murdered Colonel Hilton at Exeter, NH 23 Jun 1710. Thomas served at Fort Wm & Mary in New Castle NH in 1708; also Capt of a scouting expedition in 1723. With his mother he sold part of his father's land in Falmouth (NH?) in 1727. Thomas died 25 Mar 1770 in N Hampton NH. Abigail died 26 Jun 1772.
