Peter Haines was born on January 28, 1865 in Birdton, York County, New Brunswick, Canada.[1]
Peter married Ella Rebecca Stickles (born in Woodlands, York County on April 24, 1883; died in Stanley, York County on May 4, 1924), daughter of John Albert Stickles and Abigail Gibbons. Their children were:
- Fannie Maud (Haines) Wilkins (1906 - 1989)
- Rachel V Haines (1910 - 1929).
Peter married Abigail Saunders (born in Cardigan, York County on March 13, 1862; died in Cardigan in January 1903) Their children were:
- Daniel Winslow Haines (1900 - 1934)
- Abigail E. (Haines) Jones (1902 - 2001)
- John Haines (1902 - <2001).
In 31 March 1901, Peter was living in C, York, New Brunswick, Canada.
Peter died on May 12, 1954 in Nashwaaksis, York County, New Brunswick aged 89. He is buried in Cardigan United Church Cemetery, Cardigan.[1]
