Margaret Haines was born in 1734 in what was then Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Joseph Haines and Elizabeth (Thomas) Haines.
Margaret died in infancy on October 6, 1724. She is presumed buried in the Brick Meeting House Cemetery (formerly East Nottingham Meetinghouse) then in Chester County, Pennsylvania, without a headstone. Burial without a permanent marker was the Quaker custom. The Brick Meeting House Cemetery is now located (because of border change) in Calvert, Cecil County, Maryland.
