Biography

Albert Harry Haines was born on April 13, 1860, the oldest of 12 children of Harrison Henry Haines and Priscilla Frank Haines.

On April 30, 1881 he married Lydia Anna Rudolph and they had eight children:

Lydia Anna Rudolph died on February 11, 1912.

On July 4, 1912, he married Hulda Maria Mosey Shaner Campbell in Muncie, Indiana. She had been married and widowed twice before. She had two children with her first husband, Stephen Shaner: Dorothea Shaner and Dartha Ray Shaner, both died in infancy, and four children with her second husband: Annie Fern Campbell Swartwout, William, Lee R, and John H Campbell, who lived to adulthood. Annie Fern Campbell Swartwout was the primary biographer for her aunt, Annie Oakley, Hulda's sister.

Albert Harry Haines died on April 21, 1922 at the age of 62 in Darke County, Ohio.

His wife Hulda died on March 27, 1934 in Detroit Michigan. Her remains were interred in Greenville Union Cemetery in Greenville, Ohio next to her second husband John K Campbell and her third husband, Albert H Haines. Her firs husband was buried in Old Ansonia Cemetery with their children.
