"Charlotte Hair Seaton died in her 100th year at Wentworth Lodge. She was the daughter of James Hair and Elizabeth Bannister.
Obituary: Mrs. Douglas Seaton formerly of 16 1/2 McMurray St. Dundas, died on Friday May 11 at Wentworth Lodge in her 100th year. Born at Forest Ontario in 1873, she was the former Charlotte Hair and came to Dundas 68 years ago, and was a faithful member of the Dundas Baptist Church. Predeceased by her husband in 1959 and a daughter Cora [Mrs. R. Neale] in 1960, she is survived by two sons Henry of Palmdale, California and Jack of Dundas, two daughters, Theo [Mrs. Malcolm Howitt] with whom she resided and Reta [Mrs. Eugene White of Fenlon Falls] and also 11 grandchildren, 18 greatgrandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the Cattel and Eaton Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, with Rev. Elmer Anderson officiating. The internment t took place in White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Hamilton, Ontario."
