At first it appeared that Virginia Hairston died in infancy. But she is found in her family household in the 1850 U.S. Census, age 13 which corresponds with the birth year. She is later discovered in the household of the Claibornes (her sister and brother-in-laws home) in the 1860 U.S. Census, aged 23, which also corresponds with the year of her birth. She is also referred to as "Va" which is the abbreviation for Virginia. She has yet to appear in any other document after that.
The U.S., Find a Grave® Index, 1600s-Current indicates a death year of 1838. As stated in the above, this is not the case. Not all documents posted on Find A Grave are correct. The date shown on the headstone is also 1838, which does not match the record.
