Catherine (Haldane) Stobie, daughter of John Haldane and Christian Fairnie, was baptised on 21 May 1797 at St Andrew's Place United Presbyterian Church, South Leith, Midlothian, Scotland.^[1][2]

Katharine, daughter of John Haldane, married John Stobie on 9 June 1820 in Saint Cuthberts, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.^[3][4][5]
