Fact: http://familysearch.org/v1/LifeSketch Moses Hale was born September 7, 1760 the 4th child of Moses and Abigail (Emerson) Hale in Hampstead, NH. The Hale family moved to Rindge shortly thereafter. Moses was a nephew of Col. Enoch Hale and Col. Nathan Hale, Revolutionary Soldiers both of Rindge. Moses was also a soldier in the Revolution. He served in Stark's Brigade when he was seventeen and took part at the Battle of Bennington. He became a prosperous farmer in Rindge. Moses married Sibyl Adams of Chelmsford, MA, a sister of Oliver Adams of Rindge on March 21 1782. She died June 18, 1828. He married 2nd January 29, 1829 Sibyl (Howe) Sawtell, widow of Isaac Howe of New Ipswich, NH. He died October 21, 1829. Moses had four children.
