Fred Randall Hale was born on March 9, 1947 in Marienville, Forest County, Pennsylvania, United States. He was the son of Kenneth Leon Hale and Helen Louise (Thompson) Hale.[1]
The son of two parents who served in the United States Military, Fred's formative years were characterized by moves across the country. When he was just 3 years old in 1950, Fred was already living miles away from his birthplace, in Pearl Beach, St. Clair County, Michigan. Fred and his parents lived at 9731 Zens Court there. According to the census, his father had been stationed abroad in Japan in 1949.[1]
His parents divorced when he was young. His mother moved Fred and his siblings back to Marienville, where Fred lived most of his life. He became the Fire Chief of the Marienville Volunteer Fire Department and an Emergency Medical Technician.
Fred married Amy Nesbella in 1972, they raised three children together.
They later moved to Bryant, Alabama, where he was employed by Glass Containers and then retired from PSC Metals after 25 years of service.
He and his wife were members of Saint Katherine Drexel Catholic Church in Trenton, Georgia.
Fred died on November 25, 2017 in Bryant, Alabama, United States, aged 70. He was cremated and is commemorated at Kozelichki Memorial Wall, New Hope, Marion County, Tennessee.[2]
