John was born in West Dean, Gloucestershire, 1859 [1] & baptised John Hale, 27 January 1859, Forest of Dean, Christ Church, Gloucestershire the son of John Hale & Sarah. [2]

With siblings & parents in 1861 living in West Dean, Gloucestershire. [3]

The marriage of John Hale & Emma Wrigglesworth was conducted on 7 November 1896 Featherstone, All Saints, Yorkshire. [4]

A coal miner in 1901 living in Duke Street, Featherstone, Yorkshire with wife Emma. [5]

John was boarding in Pontefract, Yorkshire in 1911 where he worked as a coalminer. [6]

He died in 1920. [7]
