Sarah Hale was born on 24 November 1793 in Stancombe, Gloucestershire to Gabriel Hale and Esther Smith and christened on 1 January 1794 in Gloucestershire[1][2].
She married Samuel French on 21 August 1815 in North Nibley, Gloucestershire, England [3] and they had seven children
She emigrated about 1832 to Waverley Ontario. She was residing on 26 November 1832 at Con 4, East 1/2 lot 27 Medonte Township, Simcoe County[4].
In 1861 she was still in Flos, Simcoe, Ontario, Canada[5].
She died on 25 June 1862 in Simcoe, Ontario and was buried at Waverley United Church Cemetery, Simcoe County[6].
