Biography

James Thomas "Tommy" Hale was born in DeKalb County, Tennessee [1] on the 21st of February, 1856[2] to Benjamin Hale[2] and Celia[2]. The siblings are believed to be Joseph[3], Mary [3], Benjamin[4][3], Sarah[3], James[4][3], Nancy Hale[4]

In 1870 he was living in district 3 in DeKalb County, Tennessee[4]

In 1880 he was living in Dekalb County, Tennessee[3]

He first married (1)Sarah N. Rich in 1882 and they would have:
