Biography

Walter Ernest Haley was born in Morden, Manitoba on September 17, 1895. He was the son of Walter Haley and Cora Woodruff.^[1]

At the time of the 1901 Canada Census, Walter, Cora, Herbert, Reginald, and Walter Haley were listed as living in Morden, Manitoba, along with a domestic^[2].

Walter married Jane Bowell in Vancouver on July 23, 1917^[3]. On their marriage registration, Walter's occupation was listed as "Clerk".

Walter died in Black Creek, British Columbia on September 30, 1953^[4]. His death registration states that Walter had been Vice-President and Manager of Brown Fraser Machinery Co. for one year at the time of his death.
