Lyndon D. Haley, age 79 of Paris, IL passed away at 1:15 p.m., Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Signature Healthcare, Terre Haute, IN. He was a member of the Paris Nazarene Church and a laborer at G.S.I. in Paris for 14 years. Lyndon was a musician playing in several bands in Paris and the surrounding area including the Lynn Haley Band.Services are 2 p.m., Monday, September 28, 2015 at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home.Visitation is Monday September 28, 2015 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home.Burial will be private in Bethesda Cemetery in West Terre Haute, IN at a later date.Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc.He was born May 10, 1936 in Woodbury, TN the son of the late Frank and Georgia Brown Haley.Lyndon married Nora L. Riggs Haley in Terre Haute, IN and she passed away September 27, 2014.He is survived by his daughter Sherry (Steve) Branch of Paris; his grandchildren: Haley (Jeff Adams) Evans of Paris, Ashley (Mike) Christiansen of Kingsman, IN, Steve (Cassandra) Branch, Jr. of Paris; his great- grandchildren: Taylor Evans, Madison Evans, Adrienne Briseno, Laytin Pratt, Mary Baud, Ethan Branch, Carter Pratt, Jordan Pratt, Karissa Nield, Emily Branch, Sydni Adams and a special friend Ryan Ellington of Paris.Lyndon is preceded in death by 3 sisters and 1 brother.For more information and on line condolences please go to www.stewartandcarrollfuneralhome.
