Removed Alvhild Ringsdottir as mother. She was wife of Harald Fairhair C 6 September 2018 Removed Guthroth Eysteinsson as father as doesn't fit with information in Biography. Reconnecting as per the bio C 6 September 2018

Old Norse: Hálfdan hinn mildi) ORIGINS – IMPROBABLE LINEAGE ALTERNATE MOTHER: He is the son of Snafrid Svasisdotter. [1]

Relationships between historical figures could have been simplified or even fabricated in the text to give the impression that succession remained within the same family….Precise chronology is also difficult to assess from the Sagas….The conclusion must be that the tight family network described in the Sagas is unlikely to be correct and that the relationships shown below should be treated with considerable caution. http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/NORWEGIAN%20NOBILITY.htm

Biography

Guthroth was born about 0937. He was the son of Harald I King Halfdansson and Snoefrith Svasisdatter. He passed away in 0970. [2]

He is possibly a half-brother to Gudroth (haraldsson-211) and should not be merged without further research. He is born long after his father's death. He is the son of Harald I Hårfagre Halfdansson and Ashlid Ringsdottir. [3]
