DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Ronnie by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Ronnie:

Ronnie. I am filling in my Bruce ancestor information. Was entering siblings for James Gibson Bruce (1800-1863), my 3rd Great Grandfather. His youngest sibling is a Bailey Bruce (1813-1886) who is a match for your entry. I am new at WikiTree and am unsure how to connect your Bailey.

Ronnie. I have a Hudgins ancestor. When I was adding the Hudgins members of my ancestry tree I encountered a problem with the Father of Josiah Van Hudgins. I have a Capt William Hudgins as his father, and you have a William Ambrose Hudgins as his father. You have William Ambrose married to the same woman as my Capt William. There is a problem when comparing your William Ambrose to the descendants listed on the Wiki web site. In fact, William Ambrose was married to someone different and had descendants very different than mine. Here is the link to the descendant list for William Ambrose: At this time, I think that the father of Josiah Vaughn Hudgins was as my ancestry tree states and is Capt William Hudgins who emigrated to America.. I can provide you a link to my ancestry site so you can see the relationships. There were certainly a lot of Hudgins in England and Wales during this time frame and more than one Hudgins who emigrated. So the confusion is understandable. As it sits now, I will need to undo the merge with your tree and continue on with my data as shown in my Ancestry tree. Please let me know what your thoughts are. Priscilla Helen Floyd

Hi , I have found on the 1870 US census Thomas Liner, name of his father, and his mom, Dorcas Fubright. I also found their marriage date in the county papers in haywood county nc. the census has Robert liner's age listed as 30, but he could have only been about 21. I an pretty sure this is the correct family.

Hi Ronnie,

I working to clean up some of my profiles, and hope you won't mind that I added sources and a biography for Wilson-38105. She is connected to my Freeman line. If the changes I made are too weird, just let me know and I can format the information the way you prefer it to display on the profile.

Thank you for updating the information. This is the point at which we are related (Elisha Marlow and Rhoda Debord - had a daughter named Esther who married Jonathan Nanney, thus Nanney to Searcy to Conner). Appreciate your work!

Hello Ronald and Welcome to WikiTree!

The email we just sent has helpful links to get you started.

WikiTree is different than other genealogy websites because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we work together on our share ancestors!

When you confirm your email address, you’ll be given an opportunity to volunteer to help document our collective family history.

Use the Tags and comments to tell us about your genealogical interests. It can be a name, like SMITH, or a place, like SCOTLAND. Be sure to click the "Enter Tag(s) and Volunteer" button when you finish!

When you volunteer, one of our Greeters will confirm your membership. Then you'll be able to add your family to the tree!

Emma--Wiki Greeter

We're really glad you're here!
