She married John William Rodden on March 27, 1900, in Franklin Tennessee.[2] They had 5 children.

They made their home in Marion county, Tennessee in 1910, where John worked as a laborer in a Lumber Mill, and she was taking care of the home and children, John-9, Carroll J-6, Rose E-4, and Elijah D-8 months old.[3][4] By 1920, they had moved on to a Farm in Hollywood, Jackson County, Alabama. [5] At this time only Rose-13, and Foster-7 remained in the home.
She is thought to have died on July 21, 1921, at the age of 39, in Alabama.

Based on 1870 Federal Census and the 1880 Federal Census of Jackson county, Alabama household for John H. Hall and his wife Nancy there is no daughter with the name Nancy. The following children are listed in the household: William M. Hall, born about 1863; Solomon W. Hall, born about 1865; Mary A. Hall, born about 1868; Sirena C., born about 1871 (daughter); Carrol J. Hall born about 1874 (son); Elija M. Hall, born about 1877 (son); and Francis E., born about 1878 (daughter).
