I'm sorry that you are no longer participating in the England Project's Orphan Trail, which we ask all new project members to complete. Sometimes people find that their interests change or the Orphan Trail isn't what they thought it would be.
You are welcome to re-apply to join the England Project when you have the time to commit to completing the Orphan Trail.
I do hope you choose to rejoin us in the future. In the meantime, please feel free to use the Orphan Trail resource pages as a guide when creating or editing English profiles. You can find links to them here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:England_Orphaned_Profiles_Team
Hi Bill, Now that you have made contact with the Hall Name Study perhaps you could start to add profiles on your Hall line and add the project category to those you want to include in the study. Regards Lynda
PS: You may want to edit your tag(s) to show any surnames, locations or historical events that you're researching. Once you save your tags, you'll be able to click them and see a list of other WikiTree genealogists who are also researching those subjects. You can read more about them on our Tags help page here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tags!!
I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Also noticed you made a few contributions to Wikitree, thank you! Here at WikiTree we like to have our members involved with others; collaboration is key!
Why don't you also stop by the One Name Studies project, to see if there's already a name study for (surname) going on? The current leaders for that are Doug Lockwood and Alison Andrus. They would be happy to get you started.
Thanks Bill. I looked for an existing WikiTree profile for a John Hall b 1610, Long Sutton Hampshire. There's this one born 1610, but no location: Hall-10682. Is that him?
Welcome to the Hall Name Study Bill! Would you like a One Name Studies badge? (Showing that you're a member of the project - see the ONS Project page for information about the project).
Congratulations, you've been a WikiTree member for a month! We're glad you're here. A few tips to help you dive in even deeper
Check out Beyond the Basics of WikiTree for a guide on some of our more advanced features such as Projects, Categories, and Merging.
We're very active on our social sites and we have an excellent blog where you'll find our monthly newsletter as well as tips, interviews with our members and guest posts from others in the genealogy community.
And we're always looking for volunteers to assist in different ways.
Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having. How is your experience with Wikitree going?

Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.
The Help Index is also an important place to find how to do most tasks.
Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.
I wanted to take a second to welcome you to the WikiTree family and thank you for volunteering! You are now a confirmed member.
If you already have or you are planning to upload a GEDCOM, you might want to check out Importing GEDCOMS
Keep in mind that our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile.
Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.
Thank you for joining WikiTree. Our G2G Forum is searchable or you can post a question there.
The Help Index is also an important place to find how to do most tasks.
If I can be of help in any way, please let me know!
Welcome aboard!
Mary
Have only just discovered WikiTree and would like to become a full member. Have been researching my tree for about 10 years. I try to put back into the community and transcribe for LDS and FreeReg
I hope you are well.
