Biography
William was born in 1766, and was christened at Bakewell, Derbyshire, on 23 November 1766.[1]
William Hall and Alice Allen, bachelor and spinster of this parish, married by banns on 14 July 1797 at Duffield, Derbyshire. Both made mark. Witnesses were Sam Wildsmith and John Statham.[2]
In the 1841 census he was living at Cow Hill, Belper, Derbyshire, England.[3]
He died at Belper in the March quarter of 1843, aged 77.[4]
