Biography

John Hall was born, probably at Harpswell, Maine c1732 (if age 25 at the birth of his daughter, Mary), [1] and married, before 7 Aug 1757, when his daughter, Mary "Polly" Hall, was christened at Harpswell, Maine, [2] Mary Jordan. [3]

He was commissioned a 2nd lieutenant on 5 June 1776 for service with the 5th Harpwell company of the 2nd Cumberland County militia regiment during the American Revolution. [4]
