Lorraine, I have added you to the trusted list for Mary Hiatt-1579. I am recovering from a very serious illness and am not able to do much with this profile now. My cousin Jeff Evans-7055 manages Hiatt-145 and the other profiles and you can contact him to be added to those profiles. Thanks for the help.

Strange, GEDMATCH.COM says Kit F354810 is registered to a Lloyd Gilchrist. Is this a typo in the GEDMATCH ID #? Your Ancestry test kit number matches to my Father on 2 small segments on Chromosomes 1 & 15 I was going to compare to the FTDNA test kit, but it comes back as a different person altogether.

i see you do have DNA testing - shoot me your GEDmatch number (hope you have one) and let's compare to see if we are related to the same Hall's! If you want others to be able to see your DNA tests, etc. you would need to change your privacy setting to yellow.

Hi ,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Hi!

How are you? I'm Shirley, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.

How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point, and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.

If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Do you have Royal Ancestors? Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

And I'm here to help too, just ask!

Shirley ~ WikiTree Mentor

Hi Lorraine, You are now a member of the WikiTree Community - We are building One Collaborative Tree, with just one profile per person, so it is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree.

If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add, please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Also, be sure to include a list of the sources used, on each profile you add.

If you need help getting started, view this introductory WikiTree video. Also, check out the Help Index and the G2G forum. - Good luck growing your branches, Patt -

I've worked on my family history for more years than I like to admit. Citing sources and giving credit to others for the work they have done, are important aspects of genealogical research.
