According to her grave marker and the transcribed Hall Allen Family Bible, Harietta was born the 23rd of February 1832.[1] Luke Ward Connerly in his book Pike County Mississippi 1798-1876, shows " Jane and Harriet, twins, who married James Thornhill and Leroy Breland respectively" are the daughters of Armstead Hall and Rachel O'Quinn.[2] Jane's grave marker also shows birth 23 Feb, 1832. Harrietta would have been one of the two females age 5 to 10 in the household of Armstead Hall on the 1840 Census.[3]
Harrietta married Leroy Breland, son of Hillary Breland and Ailey Brown. Harriet Breland was enumerated as age 18 on the 1850 Census for Pike County in the household of 27 year-old Leroy Breland with children, Sarha A. age 3, and Hugh age 11 months.[4]
By 1860, 27 year-old Harriett and Leroy Breland had six children in the household:[5]
Sarah A., age 12
Hughey, age 11
Aly, age 8
Hillrey, age 6
Milly F., age 2
Gracy A., age 9 months
Three more children were born before 1870 when 38 year-old "Harret" and Leroy Breland's household was enumerated in Pike County with:[6]
Hillery, age 14
Frances, age 13
Gracy Ann, age 11
Elisha, age 6
Newel C., age 3
Easther, age 2 months
She died in 1872, and was buried in the Breeland Cemetery in Tylertown, Mississippi.[7]

A descendant is seeking a document to prove HARRIETTA was the daughter of ARMSTEAD HALL other than Conerly's book which I do not have. If anyone has another source, please post it.
