John Ernest was born in Elderslie in 1871 and married Rebinnah E. Hepburn . He was living in Chesley and she was in Elderslie Twp. when they were married in 1894. The witnesses were Joseph Hall (his brother) and Polly Hepburn of Chesley.
He went to the States in 1891 and she followed after their marriage in 1894.
In 1900 they are in Minto Village, Walsh, N. Dakota and he is a clerk in a lumber yard. In 1910 they are in Bathgate City, Pembina, N. Dakota and he is now a manager in a lumber yard.
They are back in Canada in Swift Current, Maple Bush municipality, Saskatchewan by the 1921 census and he is still managing a lumber yard.
I can find no mention of their death records or any children.
