Mary was born about 1870 in Nebraska. (1900 census)
Name
Her Hocąk name was Hinųga, which is a birth order name for the First Daughter. (1890 census)
Family
Mary was apparently married to someone named "Hall," since the 1890 census shows that she had a two year old daughter named Wīhą́gā, "Second Daughter," which the census described as a "step-daughter" (to Frank Seymour). This girl apparently died before 1895, since that census does not mention her.
Shortly after the death of Frank around 1914, she married Richard Logan. (1917 census)
Education
Mary spoke only Hocąk and could not read or write English. (1900 census)
Death
Mary died on 30 Jun 1922, probably on the reservation in Winnebago, Nebraska. (1922 census)
