Charles Hall was born in Lancashire, England.

Charles was the son of Joseph Hall and Eve Clayton. He was born on 21st April 1874 and baptised on 10th May at Great Harwood.^[1][2]

Charles married Mary Edmundson in the district of Blackburn, Lancashire in 1908.^[3] Their daughter Eve was born in 1909.^[4]

In 1911, 36 year old Charles lived with his wife and daughter Eve in Great Harwood. He worked as a cotton mill labourer and was born in Great Harwood.^[5]
