Charles was the son of Joseph Hall and Eve Clayton. He was born on 21st April 1874 and baptised on 10th May at Great Harwood.[1][2]
Charles married Mary Edmundson in the district of Blackburn, Lancashire in 1908.[3] Their daughter Eve was born in 1909.[4]
In 1911, 36 year old Charles lived with his wife and daughter Eve in Great Harwood. He worked as a cotton mill labourer and was born in Great Harwood.[5]
