Hi Pamela, re Benjamin Baldwin, Jeptha is his son, I am a direct descendant. ISabella Wright was not his mother, as I posted on the profile, I am re attaching Jeptha as son.

Hi Ellen. I moved Jeptha to his parents record. See Baldwin-11143. Jeptha - the son of Benjamin and Abigail Unknown Baldwin. The Benjamin who married Isabella is the son of Ezekiel and Sarah Baldwin. Though Ezekiel and Sarah had a son named Jeptha, Jeptha is not found among son Benjamin and Isabella’s 12 children. Benjamin - the son of Benjamin married Abigail and fathered the Jeptha who met his end at the market depot. We’ll get this right. Pam

Pamela, I sent you an email in answer to your private note.

- Following up, I found the problem. My Eunice was probably a Condict, or z Condit, according to a fairly credible source. Not sure of her mother yet, but I made the change.

Hi Ellen. I’m so glad we worked things out. I’ve got another whopper on my hands; this time on a Baldwin profile: Baldwin-12784. Feel free to join in and help this one along if you like. I really respect your work. Pam

I am beginning to believe that we may be dealing with 2 different individuals with the same name, in the same time frame and located near to each other…across town perhaps? I think this will require more time to untangle before we consider a merge.

Thanks for the consideration you showed for your family member Jeff when you posted on Hall-21027. If you want to help him, you might want to ask the WikiTree Team (info -at- wikitree.com) if they can give you access to the profiles for which he is a manager so you can deflect the email notifications that otherwise would be sent to him. This might depend on their getting an OK from him...

Hi Pamela

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand this Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines laid out on that page.

Hi Pamela

We are happy you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.

Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree. They will save you time, energy, and frustration as you add your family profiles.

Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.

Questions? You can always use the G2G link in the Help Menu to find answers. To see if your ancestors are on WikiTree add their name to the name fields at the top of your profile, this opens a list of profiles with the same name.
