Biography

This biography is a rough draft. It was auto-generated by a GEDCOM import and needs to be edited.

The record of marriage between Evan HALL and Mary Ann SANDERS in 1845 and the 1850 census record location were both in Jennings County, Indiana. It is more probable that Mariah Henson HALL was born in or around Jennings County and not in Montgomery County, Indiana which are separated by at least 3 counties.

Parents

It is believed her father was Evan HALL. If this is the case then Mariah HALL would have been about 13 years old at the time of his death on 7 March 1859 in Jennings County, Indiana.[1] The find a grave memorial stated that Evan Hall, Sr. died from a broken neck as a result of falling off the roof of his house.

Note: The Find a Grave Memorial for Evan HALL stated he was born on 8 September 1815 in Jennings County, Indiana and died on 7 March 1859 in Jennings County, Indiana. The place of birth conflicts with the one census record we have for him (1850) that states he was born in Pennsylvania.

Her mother was probably Mary Ann SANDERS who Evan HALL married on 19 April 1845 in Jennings County, Indiana.[2]. Evan HALL was probably married previously as he had at least 3 children before this date as referenced in the 1850 Census record. These would be Mariah's half siblings.

There is a possible match for the 1st marriage of Evan HALL with a marriage that occurred on 22 December 1836 in Jennings County, Indiana between Evan HALL and Maria LETT.[3] If this is the correct individual she would have probably died sometime around or after 1841 as the last known child born before the 2nd marriage occurred was born about 1841.
