Elijah P Hall was born about 1820 in South Carolina[1]and apparently divorced wife Hannah sometime before 1860[2][3]
Elijah, ex-wife, sons and their families were in Illinois District, Cherokee Nation, Oklahoma, in 1893.[4]

Elijah is probably the step-father of John and Louis. Y-DNA tests confirm that the male line of descendants of John and Louis should be Franklin. Family stories also confirm the Franklin surname, but the generation in which the change to Hall occurred is unclear.
