BARRINGTON - Stephen Stanley Hallahan, 57, of 117 Route 125, died Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston from complications of injuries sustained in a accident in Greenfield, Mass. in April of 2004.
Born in Malden, Mass., he was the son of Thomas F. and Edith (McLeod) Hallahan and was a graduate of schools in Melrose, Mass. He was a former resident of Derry, prior to moving here seven years ago. He was an avid fisherman and a member of the Amoskeag Bass Anglers Club and enjoyed playing golf.
He was employed as a truck driver for Ameritech Environmental Services, Inc. of Eliot, Maine.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Weeden Hallahan, of Barrington; his stepchildren and their spouses, Michael and Gaye Dean of Dover, Kevin and Kim Dean of Strafford, Lori and Roger Porter of Collierville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Shaylyn Dean, Michael Porter and Brandy Janelle; two great-grandchildren, Jordan Lee Dean and Andrew Janelle. He also leaves a brother, Thomas F. Hallahan Jr. of North Reading, Mass.; two sisters, Mary Ellen Ewert of Irvine, Calif., and Karen LeClair of Greenville, Maine and a half-brother, Timothy Whooley of Maine, and several nieces and nephews, and his beagle, Rascal.
