I noticed you haven't been active on WikiTree for awhile. A lot of great and positive changes have happened in the last year or so and the community is growing at a rapid rate. We're also expanding things like projects, categories, DNA and interest groups while working equally hard to eliminate duplicates and poorly sourced profiles.
If you would like to help out in other areas, the opportunities can be found at Volunteers Needed.
If you havent found us already, WikiTree is active on many Social Sites. We also have a blog with news of WikiTree events and further ideas from WikiTree members.
If you have any questions, I can be contacted via my profile page.
your info will be a great help. I am moving forward slowly here as there is much on at my work etc. I'm looking forward to expanding on my family tree's info particularly from the time my great grandfather arrived in Adelaide, and I know that some others of his descendants have already established a profile here.
Regards,
Chris Hallam.
Thank you, Christopher, for volunteering to help grow our worldwide family tree. It sounds like you've done some extensive research.
Our Honor Code, G2G message forum, help pages, search features, and many other useful links can be accessed from the menus on the upper right corner of most pages.
VERY IMPORTANT:
The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.
Our mission is to build a global tree with just one profile per person, so please try very hard not to add any duplicates to our shared tree.
Hi All. I'm a decendant of Joseph and Hannah Hallam who arrived in South Australia in 1853 abord the ship Magdalena.
My ancestary has been traced back to Whilliam Hallam, son of Luke Hallam and Prudence Dickman who was born about 1620. Whilliam married Jane Hutchinson on 22nd Dec 1640 in East Leake Nottinghamshire.
I have a common ancester, with many Hallams of Tasmania, Richard Hallam, who was christened on 20 Jun 1750 in East Leake, Nottinghamshire England and died on 27 Sep 1825 in East Leake, Nottinghamshire at age 75.
Also, WikiTree Help is filled with useful information you might want to review. The help pages can be accessed through the link in the upper right hand corner of your profile page.
Our Honor Code is a very important part of why our community is such a friendly place to grow your family tree. :o)

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

It begins with Hallams from 1620 who are also listed here on WikiTree
