The birth information regarding Nottinghamshire comes from a marriage record for son Russell James who married Jane Elizabeth Allinson In Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. on Dec 16, 1922 William Hallam states that his birth place is Nottinghamshire, England. These sources state that William's wife is Martha Anne and that his children are William Algoma, George Ewart, Glenn, Clarence, Frank, Russell James, Douglas Ralph and Edgar David. ( Note: birth record for Edgar states a confused entry suggesting his middle name may be 'Daniel'.
