Biography

Jonathan was born on 25 October 1906 at 29 Crookhay Lane, West Bromwich, Staffordshire, the son of Samuel Hallard, a boat unloader, and Elizabeth Hallard formerly Jaundrell [sic]. The informant of his birth was mother Elizabeth Hallard of the same address. She signed with her mark. ^[1]

In the 1911 census Johnathan, as his name was recorded, was living with his parents and siblings at 112 Lea Brook Rd, Near Wednesbury, Staffordshire. He was aged 4 years. ^[2]

Jonathan Hallard married Eva C Tittley [sic] in 1932 at St. James’ Church, Wednesbury, Staffordshire. ^[3]

This couple had one son named Frederick Lewis Hallard born 1933.

Son Frederick Lewis died in 1933 in infancy. ^[4]
